Looking for a new Content Managment System

I am making a website for this guy who has average computer abilities.
Someone showed him some complicated html source code and this frightened him. He wants to have a website, and be able to update it himself, but he doesn't want it to be that difficult.
Having been around the net, I know that we can get a good CMS he should have an relatively easy time maintaining a site through a web-based interface.

I was particularly impressed with Plone, combined with fckeditor.

This kind of WYSIWYG approach would do him well.

Unfortunately my server does not support python (needed for zope, needed for plone). I've been looking at other CMSes and there are a lot.

So I come to ask you, what CMSes have you had luck with. I want something fairly simple, I do not need forums, wikis etc. I just need something to organize a few pages and have a latest news type thing on the front page. A WYSIWYG editor would be a big plus.

I've tried phpNuke, which (obviously) uses php (and mysql). I found it easy to use, and it includes many features like a download section and a forum (phpBB). It was reacently discontinued, but has now restarted. Hope this helps

I don't have time to evaluate them all. I am looking for a system that will integrate under one roof, for a software company:
  • Forums and announcements.
  • Secure private messaging.
  • Secure order-entry and processing.
  • Delivery of order fulfillments (license codes).
  • FAQ section.
  • Bug reporting.
Open-source.
