I have one problem that i have vpn connection via vpnc to other enviorment and this other enviorment only provide 50 gb space to us and we are always copying file there and and every 2nd day this space from other part is full and my script get stucked.
So i just want to set up another script that will always check the space free size and as it go above 80% it send me email that i should delte some files from there.
here are some suggestion which i can tell you.
1_: First check vpnc connecton is established or not ?
2: Than if not then establised vpn connection and than run df -h command and check the free size of space and then send me email .
can some one please help me out ?

Do you (or your company) have your own domain?
Is it hosted (the companies internet or web server isn't in the building with you, it's on a paid for site)
Do they offer email as part of the hosting package? Many companies do.
Did we get the other problem resolved? It's best to try to set clear goals and then accomplish them in sequence rather than doing part of this and then part of that.

I just want to configure sendmail because on my linux server there is vpn connection and i want to know when this vpn space is 80% full then i get email to my private email account,
