Linux Partitions (Help)

Hi all, I have Fedora Core 2 and Windows XP on my 120GB HDD, I dont use Linux anymore and i need the extra space, I have deleted all the Linux Partitions but i still have the GRUB when my PC starts up, I know that to get rid of GRUB i have to boot from my windows XP CD and go to Recovery Mode or something, but what is the command i have to type when im in the Recovery Console?

Also, I now have 50GB of free space which i would like to put with the Windows XP Partition so its 120GB again, what FREE software can i use to do this?

Please Reply A.S.A.P

Regards

Chris.

You could check at http://www.microsoft.com and see what free stuff they have.

I have done all that has been suggested and the GRUB thing is still there. it ask's what OS i would like to boot, and it has Windows XP and Windows XP, twise. I have gone into the recovery console and done the "fixmbr" command, it was successfull and the only partition i have is Windows XP. So why does it ask if i want to boot from Windows XP or Windows XP? strange...

Are you positive this screen that let you choose between xp and xp is grub? Canīt it be the own xp boot manager?
If you had run fixmbr successfully, there was supposed to be no more grub in the hdd.

Your guess is most probably true, it could be Windows loader, coz' I once had this kinda problem

To the thread starter, you should be able to have just glompse of "GRUB loading.." if it is still

your booloader

Cheers
