Linux+MySql Web Service


Hi,

I am a linux programmer, but not on MySql or any other web/db domain.

I am looking for a webhosting with Linux + MySql. naybody please give me some pointers on selection criteria of a service provider and also on any potential pointers to start learning on creating web interfaces to MySql.

There are lots of good hosting companies. It just depends on your needs. Are your requirements a dedicated mysql database host, or a shared host? Generally speaking, the shared host is cheap and plentiful. These guys were good for me. http://www.dayanahost.com. These guys are good too, http://www.pihost.com They are more because their service leans more to rack space, vm's, etc. IMHO, the extra is worth it because their service level is very high. They would help you get going on the whole mysql thing.
