Linux and APM


Simple question: I am using Red Hat 9. How do I turn OFF Advanced Power Management?

Try putting apm=off at the end of the line that boots your kernel in /boot/grub/menu.lst like so

kernel /boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/hda4 apm=off
