LIghtscribe SimpleLabeler for Linux

Does anyone that is using this program know how to change the font SIZE in this? I have what I believe is the most recent version (taken from LightScribe's site) and there is ZERO documentation with it, and the program doesn't appear to have any option to change the font size or location. Yes, it is a "simple" labeler, but you would think you could at least do something as basic as this with it.

I would have posted this on the forum on Lightscribe's site, but it doesn't appear to be compatible with Firefox and keeps telling me that my account doesn't exist (but then tells me the account already exists when I try to (re)create it) -- typical IE-coded site nonsense.

Any info would be appreciated. Would also accept alternative suggestions for a program to do this, since LeCie doesn't support text (only graphics). Running on Fedora Core 14.

Are you aware the the LaCie lightscribe labeler requires two packages to be installed?
LightScribe Host Software v1.4.113.1 for Linux
LaCie LightScribe Labeler for Linux

According to the LaCie manual, you can do text. See the manual here.

You also have the option of creating an image, with text, in some other app such as the gimp, and using that image in the lightscribe labeler.

Yes, and both RPMs are installed. The first RPM bundles the driver software with a "Simple Labeler", which is the title of this thread. LeCie actually doesn't print text. The part in the manual you're refering to:

"three print mode buttons, corresponding to the three LightScribe standard print modes :
■ Title, which gives you room to print a circular title text.
■ Content, that adds printing space for detailed information about the content of the disc."

allows you to manually write it in with a sharpie by leaving a blank space around the graphic, but the program itself doesn't actually offer any text capability.

Other options would be appreciated...
