hi i have upgraded my lenovo to 1GB and also uploaded vista and now i having problems in my sound their is no audio in my laptop i tried to download from the internet stilll not workin plzzz help

So...what you're saying is that the laptop used to have sound? Can you clarify please? Like what happened before (OS, history of computer, the sound worked before)

your laptop model?

Hopefully you didn't ESD fry the sound chip during the memory upgrade

my laptop model is lenovo y400 945423a. it used to have sound before i installed vista and upgraded the ram

Hi, I am not sure where to really begin w/ your problem, but I would suggest you start by checking out http://www.thinkwiki.org to see if it's a common problem w/ your model. Next post on http://forum.thinkpads.com/ (very good site). Lastly, call Lenovo! This is what they have customer support and warranties for
