Latex Problem - Natbib Please Help

So in bibtex I'm using the package natbib. Specifically, I am using it with apalike style. I need it to have the FULL AUTHOR LIST for the first citation every time. However, it continues to put Author et al., despite the fact that in the options I have specified \usepackage[longnamesfirst]{natbib} however it doesn't use long names. If I change it to chicago style it does the long names but it is in chicago format and I need unconditionally APA format for the paper I'm writing. Is it actually impossible to get this to work with apa like, because that sucks. Any ideas?
