koffice app kplato libs missing

Hello again.

I am trying to get kplato to run in PCLinuxOS.

If one does not install task-koffice meta package but instead just installs koffice and kplato, it will not run.
giving the error:

koffice (lib kofficecore): WARNING: Library files for ".la" not found in paths.

I am trying to find the specific lib to support this, but synaptic is offering no more help.

Anyone have a suggestion for this ?

I think a lot of us would say that you should just install the meta package and be done with it. You seem to be making it harder than it should be.

size is an issue
trying to make a cut size and the whole package is both too big and mostly unnecessary.

just need select apps from it.
