Question KNotes: Bug? Write it once, get it 12 times.

Hello,

has anybody an idea what goes wrong? When I enter just one note in KNotes (e.g. embedded in Kontact), close the application and open it again, I get 12 exact copies of the very one note. So KNotes blows up every note 12 times.

Why? Do I do anything wrong? Is it a bug (I don't hope so since I have this behaviour for farious versions of knote)?

I'd be glad to find a solution.

Bye,
Arthur

You could try looking into ~/.kde/share/config/knotactrc to see if the number 12 shows up. Then change it to 1.

Talking Problem solved

Thank you bigrigdriver! You pushed me to the right direction.

Although ~/.kde/share/config/knotactrc did not exist, I found the resource file for KNotes in ~/.kde/share/config/kresources/notes/stdrc (using KDE 3.4).

What did I do to solve the problem? I only deleted the file "stdrc", restarted KNotes and tried it again. That's it!
