KDE is Driving Me Nuts!

I have KDE 3.5 installed and everytime I open, close, max, min a window in KDE, I get these awful chimes and sounds that I can't find to disable. I have looked everywhere and am unable to find out where to disable these sounds.

Please help!

Isn't it in kcontrol center --> sound and multimedia --> system notification? There should be a drop down list called "event source" at the top and the sounds you're looking for should be under "KDE window manager"
