kde 3.3 keep window settings

in kde 3.2 and earlier i could size a window, right click on the title bar and select "advanced...keep window settings" or something worded similar and when i closed and reopened that window, it would open in the same place and the same size as it was when i closed it

now in kde 3.3 that is not there anymore, it has the advanced menu option but only has "special window settings" and i am not too clear on how to store window settings anymore

for example, the new firefox 1.0 preview opens full height but not full width. i have to hit the maximize button everytime. how does kde 3.3 store these settings?

thanks
