Window Settings

I am using KDE, with konqueror, and I choose to view file listings as text view, I like it that way, and so after that I go to the upper left corner, click, and go to the advanced feature, and tell it it store the window settings, so it can keep the file listings the way I want it, but when I close and reopen it, it reverts back to Icon view, ...The hell!? How do I make it keep the settings I want?

You need to use "Settings->Save view profile" after setting it to list view. The window settings only relate to position and deskop etc.
