Smile K3B issue-cdrecord changes

Hello again everyone,my Q's today is.How do I change the privileges correctly on K3B to be root, all works fine but I get this message when I start the application
"cdrecord changes its privileges to be root.Root allows "cdrecord" to run with high priority""..
K3b itself works fine as stated copy's and burns to cd"s okay.

Try chmod +s /usr/bin/cdrecord if I understand your question correctly you not exactly clear what you want to do, you might want to change cdrdao as well.

I've found out that k3b runs absolutely great if you just ignore the message. I've had no problems and is fast as a rabbit!

Cool

The request for root changes on start-up is part of the software of the "K3b" program. If YOU save the defaults with the click of the mouse, it will still appear next time the program is opened. It has the benefit of looking over the hardware and the associated software profiles assigned to the system at the time the program is invoked. This safety step will notify the user that the system is setup correctly for usage, or requires adjustment prior to burning. I love the program "K3b". It is amazing to enjoy making the CD-ROM's from downloads. I like CD-Creator also.
