K3b don't let me drag & drop mp3 to an audio cd.

Whats with K3b that doesn't let me drag and drop mp3s to cook a new audio cd, and tells me it can't handle the format and I need to convert the mp3 to wav so I can burn it!

What? I feel like I'm using my old 8x burner with Windows 98 back on the old days, when I need to convert every single mp3 to burn an audio cd cause mp3 wasn't supported in car radios, etc. Took forever to burn a 12 song cd.

Why K3b is so lazy? Is there a way to make it auto convert the files to wav ? I like my audio cds in wav, I don't feel like wasting a cd for 19 songs and loosing quality at the same time.

Help please, I need guidance

This is not a bump, I will answer myself for the sake of the search engine

http://linuxappfinder.com/blog/howto...upport_for_k3b

Seems like some linux distros need to download a package that you can easily find in the universe section of repositories.

sudo apt-get install libk3b2-mp3
