Drag & Drop into KView

Simple and straight forward. How do I enable drag & dropping of images into KView so I don't keep getting new instances for new images? I remember it having the capability when I was using Slackware 9.1, but disappeared in 10.0 and 10.1.

Maybe it wasn't as simple and straight forward as I thought? More specifically, I'm wanting to drag image files from Konqueror into KView so I can view the images. I don't really care for the "next" and "previous" buttons in the toolbar and I don't want to keep opening new instances of KView to see another image.
