In fedora 10 root login is disabled .
Although if you use Gnome it is possible to enable the root login
But it is of course not recommended to login as root

Thanks. I don't often login as root, but I didn't realize that it had been disabled In fedora 10. I generally use $su -. How can I re-enable it using Gnome?
I believe when I upgraded from Fedora 8 to 10 I could still login as root, if I remember correctly. Of couse I just use that system as a server, and generally don't use X windows on it. I usually just use ssh or console.
