Hi
I've installed Debian etch on a new machine and wanted to
install LightZone.
I've installed LightZone on other machines several times and there
were no problems at all.
LightZone needs java runtime environment. When I installed Eclipse, I remember some java package was removed from the system.
That's what I've got at the moment
Quote:
sycamorex@linux-tree:~/LightZone$ java -version
java version "1.5.0_10"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_10-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 1.5.0_10-b03, mixed mode)
|
When I try to run LightZone installation script I get:
Quote:
sycamorex@linux-tree:~/LightZone$ ./LightZone
Preparing JRE ...
testing JVM in /home/sycamorex/LightZone/jre ...
testing JVM in /usr ...
|
And that's it. it quits
BTW, lightzone has its own directory with jre.
I don't know, can't it find jre? or it's a different version?
Perhaps I should remove java and install it again from sun's website? (if so which packages am I supposed to remove)?
thanks
