Question is it possible to force thunar to use lowercase for desktop, music, file system, etc

Hi LQ:

Is it possible to force Thunar (in xfce4) to use all lowercase for the special directories it manages: Desktop, Trash, and "File System"?

Based on the FAQ, I can only suggest looking through the configuration file it mentions (in $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/Thunar/thunarrc)...

Hope this helps,

well the only option I found in thunarrc that seemed like it dealt with case was
Code:
MiscCaseSensitive=FALSE
I fiddled with this option, but no cigar.

I thought that when a new user was added to the system, that its home directory was populated from a template somewhere, and also thought that if I could find this template, maybe I could change the names to lowercase there...

No, that's for sorting

Per README.thunarrc:

* MiscCaseSensitive (FALSE/TRUE)

Determines whether the sorting should be done in a case-sensitive
manner. The default is FALSE.

(I know this is a kind of old thread, but this info may help others who find the thread via Google)
