Hello,

I've installed Suse 7.3 on my laptop. The hotsync with my palm PDA via com-port goes fine. The IrDA- interface is supported and is installed, self-test is successfull.
Hotsync with Palm via IrDA don't work.
Can anybody help me to find the right protocol or the right configuration ?

Sorry, i have no answer to your question, i'm still trying to get the IRDA working.

Could you pls tell me how you managed to do it?
I got the pilot-link package but i'm unable to get it running...

Hello,

i cannot tell you anything about that.
Sorry for that answer. I changed due to big issues with SuSE 7.1 to 7.3. With 7.3 jpilote was installed while installing the whole thing. That went good with com3 interface.
After that I changed to 8.1 and had never used jpilote or kpilote any more.

I installed a smal PC with windows in my network, everything which works not from beginning with Linux I use that windows box.
