invalid byte sequence for encoding (postgresql)

Fellas,

I try to restore a database on postgresql but i get this error message:

Quote:
psql:giant.sql:7569: ERROR: invalid byte sequence for encoding "UTF8": 0xc741
HINT: This error can also happen if the byte sequence does not match the encoding expected by the server, which is controlled by "client_encoding".
CONTEXT: COPY adm_tmeca, line 1
psql:giant.sql:7955: ERROR: invalid byte sequence for encoding "UTF8": 0xc741
HINT: This error can also happen if the byte sequence does not match the encoding expected by the server, which is controlled by "client_encoding".
CONTEXT: COPY admtemp, line 1
part of my postgresql.conf:

Quote:

#client_encoding = sql_ascii # actually, defaults to database

lc_messages = 'C' # locale for system error message
lc_monetary = 'C' # locale for monetary formatting
lc_numeric = 'C' # locale for number formatting
lc_time = 'C'
Anyone can help me with this problem?
