Question Installing phpmyadmin with mysql??

OK-

I just got my mysql database up and running. I created a database named mambo : with the user name mario and
pass ******.

I also downloaded the latest version of phpmyadmin. I extracted it to my 'Documents' directory in home.

Now, I did read the Readme, and I configured the config.inc.php file with my database name, user name and pass.

Now, its telling me, to access this, I need to enter my domain name http://my_domain_name/path_to_phpmyadmin

I do have a domain name registered, but thats it. I dont have DNS going on or anything. I do have Apache installed on my box as well.

Im basically lost....not sure what steps I need to take to get this working?

Any suggestions?
