Install Python 2.5 on RHEL 5 with Pyton 2.4

I need to install Python 2.5 on a RHEL 5 server but still leave Python 2.4 as the Default Python environment. Any suggestions about how to go about doing this?

Alright after giving up for a bit and coming back to it I found out how.

Code:
./configure
make altinstall

Can you help another newbee?

I am trying to install Python 2.5 while leaving the default 2.4 in place. Your answer to your own question was a little vague. Can you offer some more incite?
