Install firefox2 mandriva

I just downloaded last version of mozilla firefox 2. It comes as a tar.gz that once extracted contains directory /firefox___version/firefox and inside there is what looks like the already compiled package.

I try to run every executable or .sh I find but I get to nothing.

Problem is, I always installed software by urpmi, so I have no experience in installing by hand. I think I miss some basics and obvious info.

Unfortunately, I can't find the compiled program in the repositories...

Hello

To run:
Open a shell and go to the mozilla firefox folder. Then, type
$ ./sh run-mozilla.sh

To install (as root):
$ln -s /<firefox-folder>/firefox /usr/bin/firefox

Then you can type

$firefox
in any shell to run firefox
or can create a menu or panel shortcut to the 'firefox' command.

Or if you only like to run the firefox down load it in you,re home/dir
Open a terminal run command tar xzvf firefox-2and so on tar.gz it create a folder firefox in you,re home/dir
In the folder firefox is folder bin in it is shell script link it to you're desktop click on it firefox start up
