install airtel dongle in suse 11.1 sp3

i have installed suse linux 11.1 sp3. i want to install airtel (dongle _ data card) in the system. the following are the instructions in the dongle to install in linux.

You need login as root *

1. Run "tar jxvf linux_install.tar.bz2"

2. Run "./install" in TERMINAL to install MobilePartner
eg: # bash /<path>/install

3. If you had installed this software in your system before, you will get a prompt: "The software is exist, do you want overwrites? ([Y]/[N])", enter "y" to overwrites or "n" to exit.

4. If you do not had installed this software in your system before, you will get a prompt: "Please input the install path[/usr/local/Mobile_Partner]:". Then you can input install path(fullpath), or you may using the default path(/usr/local/Mobile_Partner) by press ENTER direct

5. Finish installing

--How to run--------------------------
* From shortcut in desktop

* Run MobilePartner in your install path
eg: # /<install path>/MobilePartner

* Plug in your device, it will run automatically (Not supported in Xandros)

i followed the below methods

well if this
/home/cooperation/Linux/install
if "install" is a shell script ????
and it's real name is "install.sh" and NOT "install"
mind you there should normally be a file with the all CAP NAME " INSTALL"

and the all cap INSTALL file is the instructions on installing the software

so
if the name IS "install.sh" then this

Code:
cd to/the/location/of/the/file
chmod +x install.sh
./install.sh
----------- or this ---------
sh ./install.sh

by suse 11.1 sp3 ???
i am guseeing that the REAL name of the operating system is
SUSE Enterprise Linux Desktop 11 service pack 3
----------
there is no OS called suse 11.1 sp3 -------

have a look at the output of
Code:
cat os-release
---- or -----
cat SuSE-release
