impad not connecting

hi all,

I thought i had my imapd working but i needed to do an upgrade. Since then my impad does not accept conection from remote machines.

from localhost it connects fine but not remotely. It does not matter if i connect using name or IP.

I have read some posts that indicate it is a DNS issue? I am not running DNS, just hosts file.

Any ideas on a solution are appreciated.

post your config file I'd say.
I don't think it's a DNS issue, 'cause your numeric ip should still work
