I dont seem to be able to login to my hotmail IM using aMSN or GAIM. I was previously able to do this but since the beginning of this week it's just stopped. For aMSN, it is saying that Error connecting to server: connection refused and for GAIM is telling me Unable to connect to notification server. I'm running Mandrake 10.1. My firewall isn't blocking anything or any of the messenger ports, shutdown Firestarter and iptables just to see if that would help. Really need some help, emailling takes too long.
I hate to say this as it's been said before, but doublecheck what you're inputting with GAIM. Are you sure your CAPS lock or something similar wasn't on when you put in your info? I know that sounds silly, but GAIM has been fine for me so it's not a network issue..
