ifpgui - unsatisfied dependency - help!

Ok - here goes - my first post!

I'm trying to install ifpgui, a GUI to connect with my iRiver DAP flash-player.

PC is running Mandrake 10. It won't install due to "unsatisfied dependency libstdc++.so.6"

I've managed to suss that this is for lack of GNU C. Search as I might, however, I can't find where to get it and how to install it. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Let me just say that I'm pretty PC-savvy in general, but I'm a TOTAL novice on Linux and Mandrake, so please be gentle with me! So far I've managed to install Sun's Java, that's as adventurous as I've been...

I think mandy uses urpmi for package management. I don't know how to use it as I don't use mandy, but I think it should do some magic and install the dependancies.

Erm, I used an RPM and it didn't offer to install any dependencies :-(

Any other offers?

well, urpmi isn't an rpm. it's a package manager program that deals with rpm. check your distro's help pages to see what package manager it uses. They should also tell you how to use it.
