I can't figure out how much ram my Fluxbox is consuming...

Man, quick question... 'top' says that Fluxbox is using .5% of my ram... which is 1024mb. What is the equation to get my answer I'm looking for? I thought it was .5 x 1024.. but I'm getting half of my ram, which is absurd. What do I do? Thank you!

You're just missing a comma in your answer: (1024/100)x0.5=5.12
