How to use Chinese input method?


I have Chinese input method "xcin-2.5.3.pre3-11"build in Redhat Linux 9,but I don't know how to use it;and I dowloaded "xsim-0.3.9.4",but I don't know how to install/use it.Thanks!

I don't use these tools, I use scim and it work very well, why don't you try scim.

Hi
I am starting work on input method framework in java using eclipse editor. For including an input method in windows or macintos you just have to set the classpath pointing to the jar file containing the input method . I am at a loss how should I proceed in linux . Can u please elaborate how can I use scim. Thanks in advance.
