how to read process/thread schedule information

Hi,
is there any tool can show the thread/process schedule information? i would like to know when the thread/process wakeup, and when it was suspend? it includes kernel and user space. With this information, i can know the thread/process task schedule, and calculate the MIPs.

Another, do you know whether LTT support User space thread trace?

Thanks a lot.

William, if you are using user level threads, gprof may be of use to you. It is not my impression that LTT supports user-level thread tracing, but I have not used it, personally.

Hi Jhwilliams,
Thanks your help. I check the gprof, seems it didn't meet my expectation. I'm not sure whether my understand is correct or not. i guess that gprof will profile how many times the function was executed, and how many percentage it used during the profile period. But i would like to have one tool can show the task schedule information during past time, such as 10 seconds. e.g, i would like to know which process/thread is runing from 0~10ms, which process/thread is running from 10~20ms, which process/thread is runing from 20~30ms, etc.
