How to instal ktorrent in redhat


hi!! i am using redhat 4 . i want downloads through torents.
so i downloaded ktorrent . how shuld i instal that and is it good or else shuld i try any other torrent downloader??

Please write and spell clearly....it makes it easier for folks to help you.

When you say you downloaded it...how? What did you download? An RPM file, the source? And you say RedHat4...is that RedHat Enterprise linux 4, or really-old RedHat4?

You should be able to (as root), type in "yum install ktorrent", and that's it.

Better still if it is RHEL-4

do
#su
#yum update
#yum upgrade
#yum install ktorrent

version is latest redhat . i think it redhat 4 . yum command is not working.

Latest RHEL is 5.2
Fedora 10 is the latest from RedHat + Community for Desktop Users

Provide more details of your yum problem

Try rebuilding the rpm database ...or better still install Fedora 10
