How to get codecs and skins working in Mplayer?

i downloaded skins and codecs for mplayer on their site but don't know how to get them working. Sorry im a noob.

They seem complicated, but just follow step by step and everything should work properly. If you build mplayer from source yourself, you will want to have the codecs in first.

codecs: /usr/libs/win32/

easy to find the skins. Just type this in your console

Code:

locate mplayer

it will return a whole list of mplayer stuff, but just find out where it is installed and then look for the directory /skins and put your skins in there. It's really easy to do, believe me.
