How is KDevelop for a compiler?


Would you recommend it? If not, why?

I recommend putting this post in the programming forum........
but Kdevelop is pretty easy to use once u get used to it.....

Most of us just use a text editor like vim or emacs and the command line. Really the only thing I miss from IDEs is proper symbol completion, and the benefits of a decent text editor are well worth it.
