How do you install gtkmm 3.0.1 in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS?

I couldn't find gtkmm 3.0.1 in the Ubuntu 10.04 respiratory, and when I tried to make the package per instructions from the Gnome website ( http://developer.gnome.org/gtkmm-tut...-linux.html.en ) the terminal gave me this error 'make
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.' .

Also, I think I may need to have gtk+ 3.0 (currently I have 2.0, I could not find any higher version in the Ubuntu respiratory either) for gtkmm to work properly? So if I could have help installing that as well, it would be greatly appreciated.

You most probably forgot to type:
Code:
./configure
before
Code:
make
And if you do run ./configure it will fail telling you what are the missing dependencies.

Out of curiosity, why do you need gtkmm 3.0.1?
