How do I use "make install" in suse 8.0?


Well hi there guys. I just want to know how do I use make install files, coz I downloaded NVIDIA drivers from the net and I extracted it and then I ran "make install' and it gave me an error that said "no such file or directory". So I just want to what I must do and I just want to ad that I am new to linux and I just began to use it so be ezy on me.

Drivers for what?

Did you follow the instructions that came with the download?
