Why cant I seem to configure Evoloution to get my MSN e-mail... I know, I know, MSN=Evil, I work for dell, I am knee deep in it, But I use MSN currently because I havent fully switched to Linux yet. Any how, How do I configure evoloution to get my mail from MSN? It is driveing me nuts! and MSN will not help!
The problem here is that MSN is a http-mail
interface that's non-standardised, and MS has
the Source so their Outpuke can keep up with
their modifications to their mail service easily...
there is. but u'll need third party scripts from the link tinkster gave. u can then pipe the downloaded emails to your local spool (i.e. /var/spool/mail/your_username) and then have evolution pick the mails from there.
After reading this thread, I have a somewhat-related question...
Is it possible to easily configure Evolution for ATT.net email? I haven't even tried yet. I just wanted to know if someone knows how or already has, before I attempt it.
