Question Help-(Total Newbie) Dependency Problems

I am trying to install Mplayer on my three day new system. I think I have figured out how to install RPM's. I tried to compile MPlayer from source but I got a bunch of error messages, so now I am trying from RPM's. When I type in "rpm -Uvh mplayer-0.90-18.i386.rpm" I get a list of dependencies. So I try installing them by downloading RPM's and using rpm -Uvh but then on everyone I get the following messages:
warning: user dude does not exist - using root
warning: group dude does not exist - using root
And sometimes i get:
V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID e42d547b

Could somebody please explain what these error messages mean and how I can fix them??

Those are warning messages and not errors. Errors would cause it not to install. Those packages were probably built by someone besides Red Hat, so read everything on the download site for complete information on that package.
