Gxine used to run on my system, but now will not. The only thing I changed was upgrading Firefox to Firefox 2, but I don't see how they are related.... I upgraded today, and this is when I noticed gxine no longer working.....

Now when I try to run gxine, I get:

gxine: error while loading shared libraries: libmozjs.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

It is version 0.5.8 if that helps any....

It used to work though.... I ran locate on this file to see where it was located yesterday and it had not moved that I could tell... Is there any way to fix this? Or tell gxine where to look... I tried man gxine and found it not very helpful as I didn't know if this was an audio or a video library... man xine was equally unhelpful for the same reason.

make a link of libmozjs.so from your firefox directory to /usr/lib
