Ok I dowbnloaded the "run" file and installed it.

Problem was, on start up it errored with, can't find "libgtkglext...."

Tried for two days to install "libgtkglext..." (had rpm but couldn't get it going) but yum couldn't find a repository with it and rpm failed dependencies on LibGL.so.1

Finally I installed to rpm with:

rpm -ivh --nodeps libgtkglext-x11-1.0_0-1.0.6-1.i686.rpm

and it worked. (Yes I know this is pretty obivous in retrospect but I am just a newbie so don't go bashing me just yet

And GtkRadiant all works

Warning: the above line forces rpm to not check for dependencies so I image it is quite unsafe to do this - you could possibly screw up your system, etc - I don't really know.

But it worked for me as only LibGL.so.1 was missing and this is some kind of symbolic link anyway.
