gtkradiant: "This editor binary doesn't match..."

I just spent ages getting gtkradiant to link properly on my Opteron system. I've got all the 32-bit libs going and now I can run the executable, but a little window pops up saying:
Quote:
This editor binary (1.4.0) doesn't match what the latest setup has configured in this directory. Make sure you run the right/latest editor binary you installed /home/joe/src/radiant/bin/Linux/x86
Check http://www.qeradiant.com/faq/index.cgi?file=219
The website listed is useless; it just loads a text perl script. The radiant FAQ was redone a while back and it doesn't seem to mention this problem. Also, their server crashed recently and the only link I found on google pointed to a page that was apparently lost. Has anyone had this problem before and remembers how to fix it?
