gtasa and wine

hi all

I have windows XP and Ubuntu Dapper on my harddrive (dapper, only recently so all my apps and games are on the windows part of my drive)

Gtasa is one of those games. I want to know if it is possible to play gtasa on Ubuntu with the existing installation of it with wine, or whatever works.

I would be so very happy if that would work

thnx for any suggestions and help...

hi,
why don't you check it yourself running wine ???
#wine <path of the .exe of game>

regards

EDIT: some more programs like 'crossover' and 'cedega' are also there which works like wine. Give then a try too.

And aren't cedega and crossover cost money?

what can i do to make gtasa working? then i'll be able to play mtasa on linux, and hence I'll be able to use linux all the time (seeing as i now have macromedia flash and Xgl working )

thnx

hi,
Although don't have personal experience, but have heard that in order to run windows programs, its best to use windows only
