Gtalk (Google Talk) not working with pidgin

Hi All,

I am just installed pidgin 2.1 & found very interesting.
I am able to login & use the Yahoo/MSN accounts but I cant login to my gtalk account using pidgin. The error shows message like "trying to connect server, timed out connection"
I do not think any network issue becoz from gtalk gadget & gtalk (running on Windows, I can login to my gtalk account.
What could be the issue? Is pidgin uses different ports/protocol than used by gtalk?

Any inputs will be appreciated.

Regards,
Tatya

Hey Venki,
Thanks for the reply. I tried that but failed.
But good news is that I can connect to gtalk from kopete now, using 443 as port number.
