grub options m.i.a.

just installed kubuntu 9.04.

have 2 other operating systems on hard drive, but grub does not see them.....

so it will only boot kubuntu 9.04.

the other os's were not deleted in the installation; gparted shows them intact.

how can i get them on grub menu???

hi

the easiest is to add chainloader entries to your menu using root powers.

read my signature on grub speak and create the entries.

post back if you do not understand what to do please.

altho I do not use kubuntu...your entries may include a line that reads
# Put static boot stanzas before and/or after AUTOMAGIC KERNEL LIST

so I prefer you put the new lines at the end pls.

eg

title boot partition 6
root (hd0,5)
chainloader +1

you may need to add makeactive and hide commands as per signature if they are ms types
