As with the majority of Windows games (and other software for that matter), the answer is no.. at least not natively. You may be able to get it to run using Cedega.

Wont GTA: san andreas work with WINE or another program similar?

It might run under winex but its development is slow compared to Cedega. I was thinking of installing san andreas and importing my profiles for it into linux under Cedega. If you want it for free just be a pirate like most others on the internet. Bittorrent will allow for you to get it. Can't believe I am telling you that.

San Andreas won't install under cegega for me neither will GTA3. Vice City installs and runs fine. You could probably install it on windows and copy it over and play it with cedega I hear that this works for plenty of games that won't install through cedega. AFAIK cedega is winex plus a gui. it isn't free it's a subscription deal. you can download the winex cvs source and compile it yourself. I used to pay for cedega but when an update started using a gui (as cedega the gui used to be separate and I didn't use it.) I went back to the old one and stoped paying. It still plays fine but who knows maybe you can install San Andreas now.
