bad sound with Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on Cedega 4.4
When I'm Playing GTA Vice City I'm getting this crappy, metallic sound. I went to Options -> Audio and it seems to be on "dsound3d Software Emulation"... I tried to change it to "dsound3d Hardware Support", but it says (within the game menu) : "Hardware not available - Original Setting Restored". I'm using ALSA (tried also to change to the ALSA drive in ~/.transgaming/conf, but it didn't help). Sound card is Creative / Ensoniq AudioPCI 1371 (module is ens-1371).
any ideas?
nope, only "dsound3d Software Emulation", "dsound3d Hardware Support", two Creative engines (Creative eax and Creative 3 eax) which shows the same message ("Hardware not available - Original Setting Restored") and some "Rad Tools" or something which is working, but giving the same bad sound.
