Gnome terminal crashed,

How Do I reinstall Gnome terminal? I have Gnome 1.4 running Redhat 8?

You could probably either get it off your cd's or download from here: http://www.gnome.org/softwaremap/pro...nome-terminal/

But there are many other better terminals that you should already have installed or could try if your not too picky on what terminal you use. Usually you have xterm, aterm... etc installed on most major distro's.

When I try running Gnome terminal is craps out with a Segementation error.
I tried to reinstall Gnome terminal from the CD. It says that it is already installed. How do I uninstall Gnome Terminal completely?

When I try to run Gnome-terminal if faults out with a segmentation error. When I look at ~/.xsession~errors it says "Failed to load default Xft font"
Does any one know what this error message means and how to fix it?
