Gini listening with xmms

Hi there!

I am trying to listen to a gini-server streaming .mp3 on my pc. I run gini and ginifeed feeds a mp3 to gini-server. Looks good ...

But now I tried to conect to myself (localhostort) with xmms but always get the error, that no connection is possible.. I tried to connect to 127.0.0.1, localhost, my hostname and my eth0-address ... nothing worked.. tried different ports too... (not using iptables or something)

Is there a special trick or something like that? Or a better programm for this task, better than xmms ?

Thanks, Sascha

PS: Happy eastern everybody!
