GIMP won't let go of my tablet pointer!
I just upgraded to Debian Etch, kernel 2.6.15, and GIMP 2.2.10. I also have a Wacom Intuos2 tablet with the latest debian-provided drivers installed.
When i use gimp, if i make contact with the pen on the tablet on the drawing surface, GIMP refuses to let the pen be of any use *outside* the drawing surface (clicking does nothing). And what's worse is that it won't let me switch to my regular mouse either! (the mouse moves around the pointer on the screen, but it doesn't "revert" back to a normal system-pointer) The only way i can even operate with the rest of the screen is to Qtrl-Q quit GIMP. On other apps, the pen seems to work fine. I'm assuming this is a GIMP issue.
Has anyone else had this problem? I wonder if downgrading to an earlier package would be of any use.
