Pablo Tablet: GIMP

I am aware i can use my pablo tablet as a mouse in linux for better accuracy, but does GIMP support the use of its advanced features such as sensitivity affecting the way the picture is made. (e.g. harder press of tablet pen darker color). I can either use GIMP for windows or GIMP in linux. i have both on my computer as it is dual boot. Windows has the proper software, linux just has its own but i since this is a linux site i just wan2 know if gimp will handle this either way or natively.

The GIMP has had support for tablet pressure since 1997

However, you'll need someone with more experience than me on Xinput to get it working

HOW did you get your tablet working with linux?
I have another post in this forum about this subject, that's how i seen yours. The whole linux world is either COMPLETELY clueless as to how to do this, or they're just not telling me, as i have posted this same question in over 6 different linux forum sites, and it's been over two weeks in some of them, still, with no answer. So, if YOU know how to get this working, i'd greatly apreciate a quick 'how to'.

I'll have to try it again. I haven't used much of the GIMP in ages but I'll see what I can do to help you.
